Developing skin cancer and other problems is in direct relation to tanning so why if you do not let a child drive at the young age of 12 would you allow them to be exposed to the dangerous tanning salon says a Tennessee viewer Cathi Hixson Pominski.

A health survey, published in the American Journal of Public Heath, of over 6,000 kids between 14 and 17 years of age indicated that more than 17% of the girls and just over 3% of the boys used the tanning salons with the same percentage still using tanning salons in states that have laws that restrict the use of minors. The users that most often use the tanning booths are the older teenage girls.
