An alternative infertility option

Over the last few years it has become more commonly accepted that acupuncture can be an effective way to combat infertility.

One of the main reasons that this has become more accepted is the simple fact that woman who have had troubles conceiving have been able to have a child using acupuncture as a treatment method.

Therefore, the proof is in the pudding so to speak, however, there is now an additional reason to believe that acupuncture may help treat infertility as a new research study is finding that it may in fact be indicated.

As part of the research an analysis on research literature was performed in order to collect all of the data that was available regarding infertility and acupuncture. It was found that most of the data seems to point towards acupuncture being an effective way to treat infertility in women.

In particular, researchers discovered that there are several acupuncture points that were shown to be especially effective in helping to increase fertility in patients.

After a careful analysis of the different fertility treatments there are four key acupuncture points that are effective located on the leg and abdomen. The points that demonstrated the most efficacy in clinical trials include the Zigong, Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao, and the Zhongji.

Those who practice acupuncture will not be surprised by the results as many of these points are commonly used for obstetric and gynecological imbalances therefore it would only be natural that they are indicated for treatment of infertility as well.
